I just finished reading Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate. I was intrigued by the placement of Crenshaw's silhouette at the beginning of most chapters. Is there any significance to the placement of the silhouette?

I had nothing to do with that creatively and was done long after I finished the cover. You would have to ask the designer of the book.
