    Tom Jones - This painting took about several hours in a span of 3 days. I also did about two weeks of sketching on paper and on photoshop to explore different ideas. So it all depends on how fast I could come up with a design I'm happy with.

    The texture of the tree is great as well as the composition of the branches. They feel natural yet make great shapes and negative space. Oh, this is Jon in CFX from work by the way...I've been following your blog but have been too lazy to comment.

    this is dope stuff erwin. how do you keep your edges clean, like on the tree? is it erasing and the lasso tool? i mean if you do it in photoshop that is heh...

    Wayne - In photoshop I use a round brush set to 100% hardness and 1% spacing to keep the edges clean.
