Acrylic on Illustration Board

Here's my donation for the Totoro Forest Project, an international charity event to help preserve Sayama Forest in Japan.  Hayao Miyazaki got the inspiration for his movie "My Neighbor Totoro" from this forest.  Over two hundred artist from around the world participated for this charity event.  We were asked to create anything inspired by the movie "My Neighbor Totoro".  So this is my contribution that will be auctioned off on September 6th.  To see the artworks from all the artist who participated and to learn more about this charity event, please visit the Totoro Forest Project website.

  11. A great project, and many great artists supporting it!
Let's see if this way people can become aware of the beauty that not only is inherent to the natural world, but that which can inspire, and so begin to get more proactive in its preservation.
